Pyrethrins Dip and Spray Indications
Davis PYRETHRINS DIP AND SPRAY is an ultra concentrated pyrethrin dip that kills fleas, ticks, and lice on dogs and cats (puppies and kittens over six weeks of age).
Pyrethrins Dip and Spray Dosage And Administration
It is a violation of federal law to use the product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Shake well before using. To prepare dilutions, the concentrate should first be stirred or agitated well. Add the required amount of concentrate to the water and blend thoroughly.
To kill fleas and ticks on dogs and cats and to obtain protection against re-infestation, follow these steps:
1. Dilute 1/2 oz. (1 tbsp.) of the concentrate per one (1) gallon of water. For severe flea infestations, dilute 1 oz. (2 tbsp.) of the concentrate per one (1) gallon of water.
2. Apply directly to the animal by dipping or spraying. Dip or spray until the animal's skin is wet. Do not rinse.
To control fleas and ticks in the animal's environment, follow these steps:
1. Dilute 4 oz. of the concentrate per one (1) gallon of water.
2. Thoroughly spray the infested areas, pet beds, resting quarters, nearby cracks and crevices, along and behind baseboards, moldings, window and door frames and localized areas of floor and floor coverings. Fresh bedding should be placed in the animal quarters following treatment.
Precaution(s)
Do not re-use the empty container. Wrap the container in several layers of newspaper and discard it in the trash. Do not use or store near heat or an open flame.

Keep out of the reach of children.
Precautionary Statements: Hazards to Humans: Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in the eyes. Wash hands thoroughly after each use and before eating or smoking.
Hazards to Domestic Animals: Do not apply directly to or on the eyes, mouth or genitals of pets. Do not treat or cause exposure to kittens or puppies of less than four weeks of age.
Statement of Practical Treatment: If swallowed: Contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Do not induce vomiting. The product contains petroleum distillate. Vomiting may cause aspiration pneumonia.
If in eyes or on skin: Flush the affected areas with plenty of water. Contact a physician if irritation persists.
Environmental Hazards: The product is toxic to fish. Do not dispose of in lakes, streams or open ponds.
