HAEMOPHILUS PARASUIS BACTERIN

Contains chemically-inactivated cultures of Haemophilus parasuis.
Parapac Indications
For use in healthy swine for prevention of Glasser's disease caused by Haemophilus parasuis.
Administration/dosage
Shake well. Using aseptic technique, inject sows/gilts with 1 mL subcutaneously 6 to 7 weeks and 2 to 3 weeks prior to first farrowing, and 2 to 3 weeks prior to each subsequent farrowing. Inject piglets from vaccinated dams with 1 mL subcutaneously at 7 days of age and between 17 and 28 days of age.
Parapac Caution
For veterinary use only. Store at 2°-7° C (35°-45° F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughter. Transient local reaction may occur at the injection site. If anaphylaxis occurs, administer epinephrine.
Preservatives
Amphotericin B, gentamicin and thimerosol.
