Description
CENTRAL SALES A.C.T.H. is a sterile, free-flowing, Repository preparation of Corticotropin containing 40 U.S.P. units per mL in 5 mL vials.
A.C.T.H. 40 I.U. Indications
CENTRAL SALES A.C.T.H. is a long-acting preparation for use as an aid in the treatment of Adrenal Cortex suppression in horses.
A.C.T.H. has also been used as an adjunct to corticosteroid therapy in the treatment of equine arthritic conditions.
Dosage
200 units (5 mL x 40 units) as a single dose repeated every 3 to 7 days depending upon the response and the severity of the condition, or as recommended by the attending veterinarian.
Store in refrigerator. Warm to liquid before withdrawal.
